In Uganda there is no free schooling. Parents must pay for all their children’s schooling unless their children receive scholarships or the child has a sponsor. Because of the poor communities SHOW tries to work with local schools and help children to get education. SHOW also tries to find ways to help the other needy children that live in the community even though they are not total orphans. Without having sponsors children struggle to get any education. Many times families have to choose that maybe one child from the family gets to go to school and get an education and the others get little to no education.
